Pneumatic Control Panels

Types Of Pneumatic Panels We Manufacture

Pneumatic Control Panels

Customers may have a requirement to consolidate controls with pneumatics within the same control panel. These control panels will be designed typically with solenoids or solenoid manifolds mounted within the enclosure. Pneumatic bullheads for field connections will be mounted on the side or bottom of the control panel. Main air will be fed into the panel through a filter/regulator assembly. Keltour has the ability to assemble tubing in Stainless Steel (304 or 316) or plastic.

Keltour has experience with simple Manifolds or a Complex Pneumatic System with Regulators, Valves, Filters & Bus & Power Connections If your requirement is a pneumatic system, assembled and placed into a protective panel, or on a stand. We can provide a solution that allows the manifold to be plug and play when it arrives on your site. Whether it is a simple manifold or a complex pneumatic system with regulators, valves, filters, bus and power connections, we can provide this for you in a package that meets your specific need

FAQs

There are numerous situations that call for pneumatic control panels. Specifically, these types of control panels are used in the mining, water, oil, and gas, original equipment manufacturing, steel, utilities, and automotive industries. Pneumatic control panels activate valves that are used to control the amount of airflow within a specific pneumatic system. These control panels can be used for blowers, cylinders, motors, and more. Pneumatic control panels utilize compressed air to generate a mechanical motion and power devices in an automated factory system to perform their function.

Pneumatic control panels function very similarly to a hydraulics system as they are manufactured to transfer compressed gases and air. Pneumatic control panels utilize compressed air to produce a motorized motion and power devices in an automated factory process to perform their specific function. Essentially, pneumatics employs an air compressor to decrease the overall air volume. As a result, it increases the pressure of the air. This pressurized air then travels through a pneumatic tubing filtration. While it is in these tubes, it is controlled by values before it reaches the actuator. The actuator is the final destination in the pneumatics process where the pressurized air will travel to and will ultimately perform the function that is required to do –whether it be a device, cylinder, other motorized operation, or other programmed processes.

The purpose of pneumatic control panels is to deliver a central location and control for machine operations that utilize compressed (also known as pressurized) air components. The size, design, and layout of a pneumatic control panel will vary depending on the unique needs of the customer. Similar to an electrical control panel, a pneumatics panel allows you to control and power devices on your production line. In other words, pneumatic control panels utilize compressed air to generate a mechanical motion and power devices in an automated factory system to perform their function. Further, these types of control panels are widely used by numerous industries and help multiple mechanical parts perform correctly.

Yes, pneumatic control panels are a safe solution for your business and production line employees. In fact, these control panels curtail detonation risks in potentially volatile environments and provide a secure functionality in almost all manufacturing spaces. Furthermore, while many electrical components and panels require frequent maintenance, pneumatics mechanisms do not require as much upkeep over the years and are proven to last years before they will need to be entirely replaced.

Pneumatic control panels have been proven to last 50 + years before they will need to be replaced. Unlike other electrical components and electrical panels, pneumatic control panels do not require as much upkeep throughout the years. In addition, they are an efficient production line solution that offers safety, durability, and reliability.
